Nichole Klonowski

I'm an acrylic painter who loves bold color, layered texture, and landscapes that make you stop and feel something. My work leans into abstraction. Rather than recreating a place exactly, I try to capture its energy, its emotion, and its rhythm. Color is my language. It's how I express the joy, movement, and quiet magic I find in the world, much of it discovered through travel. A still Minnesota winter, a windswept coastline on the other side of the world: I'm always collecting the moments that make me pause, and those moments find their way onto the canvas. My favorite part of making art is seeing someone connect with a piece in their own way. I love knowing that something I created can spark a memory, a feeling, or a sense of place for someone else. That connection never gets old.
